Anyway. I don't know about all you ladies but do any of you struggle with a 100% raw diet when your hormones cut loose? I have struggled big time in the last week. So much so that I just gave in to my cravings for wholegrains and roasted veggies. I don't think I'll ever be able to be 100% raw - my hormones won't let me!!
Needless to say, I will eventually start my 10 day raw food detox and I'll be 100% during this time - I really just want to see how I feel energy and fatigue wise. I just haven't been able to commit to this just yet due to the mentioned reasons. Man!
On a good note, I have tried to incoorporate as much raw food into my diet as possible. Today I tried MESQUITE for the first time. It was a bit caramelly. I enjoyed it sprinkled onto a chopped apple :-) pretty good! I'm looking forward to trying it in a smoothie some time soon.
Talking of smoothies......Dinner was a random concoction - an icy cold, slushy bowl of smoothie soup. It froze my brain but tasted great. Banana, frozen mixed berries, fresh blueberries, ice, water. Sprinkle with cocoa nibs....ta dah!!! :-) Sometimes a girl's just gotta have berries :-)

Do not worry about not being 100% raw, there are not rules. Only thing that matters is feeling your best! So glad you enjoyed mesquite, we love it!
