To all raw foodies in the blogosphere, I hope you had a wonderful easter :-) I've currently got a batch of "gRAWnola" in the dehydrator. It smells wonderful! I mixed around 1 1/2 cups of chopped nuts (I used peanuts, walnuts, almonds and pecans) with 2 tbsp maple syrup, 2 green apples, a sprinkle of goji berries and 1/3 cup of mixed seeds.
So...what has everyone been up to over the easter break? I must say, I really needed a few days to rest and re-balance and the last few days spent running, reading, cooking and enjoying the first signs of spring, have done just the trick ;-)
I made some salad wraps for dinner last night. My boyfriend had steak and coucous with his but I kept it raw ;-)
Today's lunch was a simple fruit salad with banana, blueberries, raspberries, purple and green grapes and sprinkling of raisins......
.......and here are the crackers I made. They're great served with a crispy green salad.
My boyfriend and I went to "Butterfly World"yesterday, a little tropical paradise where they breed and care for an array of beatiful butterflies. Amazing! I felt like I was on holiday. It was so lovely to have warmth on my skin after such a cold winter. I managed to take a few piccies during our you can see, the plants were full of love!
Lots of love to you all xoxo
